APCORE ONLINE JOURNAL (AOJ) – Article Submission, Review, and Publication Workflow
Submission Portal:
All manuscripts must be submitted through the AOJ Online Journal System (OJS) at: https://apcoreonlinejournal.org/index.php/AOJ/login
Stage 1 – Submission
Requirements: Authors must upload the following complete and correctly formatted files:

- Confirms manuscript originality, no concurrent submissions, and completion of similarity (≤15%) and AI content (≤10%) checks (include tools used).
- Must have scanned valid ID of the corresponding author and author’s signature.

[2] AOJ-Copyright Agreement
- Grants AOJ publication rights and confirms agreement with copyright and ethical standards.
- Must be signed and dated by the corresponding author.

[3] AOJ-Submission of Article Template
- Manuscript prepared using the official AOJ template, including:
- Abstract (200–250 words)
- IMRAD format (Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusion)
- Tables and figures properly labeled and cited
- APA 7th edition references with DOIs where applicable
- Filename: Lastname_Article_AOJ2025.pdf
Stage 2 – Initial Screening
- Editorial office checks compliance with submission requirements, file formats, and completeness of attachments.
- Articles that meet requirements proceed to Scope and Theme Check (alignment with AOJ aim, scope, and current issue theme).
- Non-compliant submissions are returned to authors for correction before proceeding.
Stage 3 – Double-Blind Peer Review
- Each manuscript is assigned to three qualified reviewers under double-blind review.
- Reviewers provide feedback and select one of the following decisions:
- Accept as is
- Accept with minor revisions
- Accept with major revisions
- Reject / Not recommended for publication
If revisions are required:
- Authors receive consolidated reviewer comments.
- Minor revisions: 7–14 days for resubmission.
- Major revisions: 14–21 days for resubmission.
- Revised manuscripts are re-evaluated by reviewers for final acceptance.
Stage 4 – Copyediting
- Accepted manuscripts undergo language polishing, formatting verification, reference checking, and layout adjustments.
- Authors may be contacted for clarification during this process.
Stage 5 – Production and Publication
- Finalized articles are prepared for publication with volume, issue, and page number assignment.
- Articles are uploaded to the AOJ website.
- Authors are formally notified of publication.
Retraction Policy
Authors may request retraction of their published article by sending a formal email to editor@apcoreonlinejournal.org under the following conditions:
- Proven plagiarism beyond AOJ’s similarity threshold
- Ethical misconduct or undisclosed conflict of interest
- Significant data errors affecting study validity
- Duplicate publication in another journal without permission
AOJ reserves the right to retract any article that violates publication ethics, following COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines.
